Support Engineer SR

DESCRIPTION

Humanitas IT is looking for a SR Support Engineer. The support engineer will report to the support manager, work closely with him and members of the support team to provide customer service. This person will also provide support to internal staff and our quality control team. The ideal candidate must have: Comprehension of C, Linux, GDB and support practices. Ability to work in group. Willingness to work with existing processes. English proficiency (at least B2) Desirable: English proficiency (C1, C2 or C2+) Functions to be performed Correct customer errors. Consult customers via Bugzilla about settings and best practices related to Slurm, HPC and Cloud. Work with the Support Director to help onboard new customers. Contribute to quality control testing. Correct internal bugs. Weekly stand-ups with the support team in order to discuss current issues and the work being done. Develop a deep understanding of Slurm and the way how customers use it. Familiarize with the Slurm source code solving customer problems, and correcting internal and external bugs. Deal with most problems with confidence and know the way how to debug them. Contribute to the test suite. Area: LATAM and Europe Full time 100% Remote work
